About
The A Cappella Project - Philadelphia
The A Cappella Project - Philadelphia (Project Philly) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and promotion of a cappella music in the Philadelphia area. We help fund the Ani Fiordimondo Performing Arts Scholarship Fund, administered by the Walnut Street Theatre. We have a group that meets every week (Reverb) and a group that meets biweekly (Reprise). We usually meet in member's homes in Philly and the surrounding suburbs. Rehearsals are on Sunday evenings for 2 hours, the time determined by the groups. We have 3 sessions during the year that conclude with a concert, plus some gigs throughout the year. We also have various fun social events like board game nights, brunches, and of course, karaoke!

Our group is made up of former collegiate singers with arranging experience, all the way to people who have never sung in a group before. Sight reading is not mandatory!
