About
Philly Writing Club
Philly Writing Club is a twice-monthly gathering for anyone who wants dedicated time to write — in good company. You don't have to call yourself a writer to belong here. Maybe you journal, maybe you're chipping away at a memoir, maybe you have a side project that keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list.
We meet, get settled, and write together in focused silence for about an hour. Then we hang around for thirty minutes of easy conversation before heading out. No critiques, no pressure to share what you wrote, no performance. Just a warm room, a good group of people, and time that's actually protected for the thing you keep meaning to work on.
Who Should Join
Anyone with something they want to write and nowhere to do it. That might mean a novel, a journal, a memoir, a personal essay, or a work project that deserves more focus than a coffee shop on a Tuesday allows. The people who tend to show up are curious, warm, and just a little introverted — the kind who love a good conversation but also really value the quiet before it.
Best Way To Join
Sessions are $14 and capped at 30 people. Reserve your spot at phillywritingclub.com — spots go quickly.
No membership, no commitment, just show up when it works for you.
