Philly Neurodivergent Meetup
This is a chill meetup that is primarily conversation-based. Occasionally we have special guests or themes, and we might play same games or do an activity. Folks are encouraged to ask the group for advice or to share their own experiences. The meetup has two parts, starting with a low-key social hour at a local coffee shop (american grammar), then we head down the street to a local game shop and community space (BUBS) that we will have private access to. At the community space, folks are welcome to bring their own lunch, order delivery, or grab take-out from a nearby restaurant. Come for either portion, or both! The whole event will run from 12-4 PM on the second Sunday of the month.
Who Should Join
This group is for adults who identify as neurodivergent, with or without formal diagnosis. Please come if you are looking to build community and make connections (please do NOT come if your only goal is to find a romantic partner). This is a left-leaning space, and we do not tolerate any bigotry or anti-science rhetoric.
Best Way To Join
The meetup has no cost to attend, although patronizing the small businesses who host us (buying a coffee, basically) will be largely appreciated! Follow us on instagram for the latest updates. RSVPs are not required, but appreciated either via instagram DM or through our Handstamp sign up links.
