Philadelphia Freedom Band
The Philadelphia Freedom Band (PFB) is a non-profit organization comprised of a wide variety of talented musicians, ranging from amateur to professional. We come together to perform throughout the greater Philadelphia area and provide visible, active support to the LGBTQ+ community. We welcome anyone who is committed to our shared goal of musical excellence and our commitment to social justice. Members participate through our ensembles, including concert band, marching band, and jazz ensemble.
Who Should Join
PFB is open to everyone, LGBTQ+ and allies! Anyone who can read music is welcome to join our ensembles, and anyone who can twirl a flag is welcome to join color guard.

Membership dues help us pay for rehearsal space, music, concert venues, and other operating costs; but we also have an Angel Fund and payment plans, so finances should never be a barrier to participation! Dues range from $25-175, depending on how many ensemble(s) you participate in.
