DoomCraft

About

DoomCraft

I realized I was spending way too much time doomscrolling and not enough time actually creating things or connecting with people in real life. DoomCraft started as a way to break out of that a little.

The goal is simple: get off our phones for a few hours, make weird art, meet new people, and create a fun, low-pressure space for creativity and community in Philly.

We'll have magazines, books, collage supplies, scissors, glue, and plenty of random materials to work with. Feel free to use what's provided or bring your own things to cut up and share.

No artistic experience is needed. This isn't an art class or a competition. It's just a chance to make something strange, have a drink, meet some people, and spend an evening creating instead of scrolling.

Who Should Join

Anyone feeling creatively burnt out, terminally online, new to Philly, looking to meet people, or just wanting an excuse to make weird art and get off their phone for a few hours.

Whether you've been making art for years or haven't touched a glue stick since elementary school, you're welcome here.

Best Way To Join

We're starting July 1st at Doom Bar (421 N 7th St) at 5PM.

The event is free. Drinks are not.

Just show up, make weird art, and have fun.
