Making friends as an adult is weird. The easy stuff — dorms, dining halls, and someone always down to grab a drink — is gone, and nobody really tells you what takes its place. This club exists to fill that gap.
We're a community for people 30+ in Philly who want real connection, not just another networking event or a night out that leaves you feeling more alone than when you started. We get together for real conversation — the kind where you talk about your life, not just what you do for work. Think dinners, walks, discussion groups, and low-key hangouts where the point is getting to know each other, not performing for each other.
If you've ever thought, "I have a full life but somehow not many real friends," you're exactly who this is for. Come as you are — curious, unsure, a little rusty. That's most of us.
Who Should Join
This group is for Philly adults 30+ who want real friendships but haven't quite figured out how to build them since college. You'll fit right in if you're new to the city and don't have a friend group yet, if you've recently gone through a big life change (breakup, move, career shift, new baby, empty nest — you name it), or if you've got a full life on paper but a smaller circle than you'd like.
We tend to attract thoughtful, a little introspective, and genuinely curious people — not the loudest in the room, but those who show up for real conversation over small talk. Some are extroverted, while others are quieter and still finding their footing with new people. What they have in common is a desire for connection that feels easy, not forced.
