Benefit Decision Toolkit

About

Benefit Decision Toolkit

The Benefit Decision Toolkit is a Code for Philly project focused on expanding access to public benefits such as SNAP, Medicaid, and more through simple, open-source tools. Volunteers collaborate to build and maintain a free web app that helps non-profit organizations create eligibility screeners without relying on costly software. The project brings together technologists, designers, and policy-minded contributors to improve how people find and access public benefits. We meet monthly as part of Code for Philly’s Hack Night.
